atlanta / 66℉ - rain

today, the rain will dance

along your wrist

as you fumble with car doors

will sneak under your collar

and slide down your spine

as you curse

the house keys

that refuse to turn

inside their lock.

 

rain will run

it's fingers

through your hair

as it chases you

into your home,    

then dance all night

on your doorstep

- your roof

- your window

- your heart.
