Office Space 01
I haven't used a desk in five months, and my work ethic is beginning to suffer for it. I work from the sofa, the kitchen table, the bathtub, and currently...my bed. And my office has suffered: I open the door, place books or posters on the nearest chair and get outta there. Or I wander in oh so carefully, in search of a notebook or an invoice. then quickly shut the door.
But the seasons have changed, and so have I. I'm in a redecorating mood. The plan is to reorganize, paint and remix my office space.
And I have to say, I’m so excited! My office has been in flux for three years now - I used to sell vintage dresses on eBay and Etsy, so my office needed to be a combination of a shipping station, photo studio, and inventory control. But that was then. The office I need now has to be a place to write, to keep my books and to occasionally record audio or video. Oh, and I need it to be just as functional as it is beautiful. I'm starting with the books - how I organize my books will dictate how I decorate the rest of the office, so it's a logical place to start.
